Quick Usa: “Supplier of Choice” of the American Boatbuilder Association

Another major milestone for Quick Group, the Italian-headquartered international leader in the production and marketing of marine equipment: its subsidiary Quick Usa has been selected as Supplier of Choice by the American Boatbuilder Association. The current contract involves windlasses and will run from July 1, 2024 until June 30, 2027.

The American Boatbuilders Association (ABA) is a coalition of 26 leading independent US boat manufacturers, covering 21 facilities across 12 states that produce approximately 34,000 boats annually – including nearly a quarter of all fiberglass boats above 16 feet built in America. The decision to select Quick USA stands as recognition of Quick Group commitment to product quality, reliability, low failure rate, ongoing R&D, and comprehensive aftersales service and support, which has made Quick Group components a leading choice for production and semi-custom boatbuilders around the world.

The selection of Quick USA as a Supplier of Choice by ABA is another major step forward not only for the Quick brand but also for our growing branch Quick USA – enthuses Marco Santoro, CEO of Quick USA – The trust that the industry has for our products lies in our commitment to excellence in every stage of the chain, from the detailed design and engineering of our equipment lines to rigorous testing, advanced production and manufacturing capabilities, a highly focused after sales and service offering. The breadth of what we offer and the capabilities we have to meet the demands of the global leisure marine industry are second to none, and we look forward to working with American boatbuilders in what is not only the world’s largest market but also one of its most exciting and diverse”.

Jay Patton, President of ABA, adds: “We are pleased with our selection of Quick USA as an ABA Supplier of Choice for windlasses. Quick USA will provide our members with high quality products and excellent technical support. We look forward to building a strong relationship with Quick Usa”.

Drawing on its in-house engineering and R&D capabilities as well as tapping into the focused expertise of the brands under its umbrella, Quick Group has established itself as a cornerstone of high-quality equipment for the global leisure marine market, spanning several different categories of product from tanks and water heaters to thrusters, lighting, anchoring systems, stabilization and more.

Of paramount importance to the Quick Group is its US-based division, Quick Usa, which acts as the company’s foothold in the world’s largest yachting market. Following the acquisition of the Florida-based Service Center in January 2024, Quick Usa solidified its operations in the United States. This strategic move enhances Quick Usa’s capability to provide end-to-end solutions to customers and ABA partners, encompassing everything from equipment supply to comprehensive service offerings.

Several US boatbuilders have already confirmed the adoption of Quick solutions on their boats, which highlights the confidence in and high regard for Quick components that the market already holds.

The expansion of our operations in the US means we’re perfectly placed to meet and exceed the demands of the world’s largest boating market, augmented by the Quick USA team’s extensive regional knowledge and market expertise – Santoro concludes – We are so proud of what we’ve already achieved, and the Supplier of Choice award from ABA is just the beginning of what we expect will be a very fruitful collaboration with the industry here. It’s an extremely exciting day for Quick USA and for all the Quick Group’s subsidiary brands.”
