A seven-metre-long boat with four different appearances. This is the aim of the new Rancraft‘s project, called RD SEVEN, a boat planned to be built in different versions. This way, RD SEVEN can be an open boat, a cabin-walkaround, a sport fishing or a professional fishing boat. Moreover, the future shipowner will have the possibility to choose its finishings, colour and accessories.
The boat has high safe sides and a double handrail protecting both floors and the fore sunbathing platform. The cockpit is very wide and its size allows sporting fishing.
The hull takes advantage of Rancraft IHC licence (Innovating Hull Concept), a project which have proved high performances and reduced consumption.
Its design is in fact characterized by a cross-cutting step which reduces the hull friction on the water surface by making surfing easier.
The hydrodynamic principle of this particular step allows a continuous ventilation of waterlines through some lateral air scoops. The air pressure between water surface and the hull itself reduces friction. All this means higher performances, a greater comfort and lower consumption. The boat can be equipped with two outboard new generation motors or a 200 HP engine.
As regards interiors, the most important element is the fore zone design, especially above floating, with a great comfort both on the deck and in the cabin; in the “W deck” version, the cabin is provided with a very large bed which can host up to 3 people.
The fore sections are provided with some particular water flasps to avoid water spurts on the deck. On a structural level, the fore walls make a unique body with the sides through the LFC system (Lateral Frame Concept) in order to be more resistant against lateral impacts and compression.
An other feature is represented by the big inner anti-collision bulkhead protecting the inner structure in case of frontal accidents or impacts against the dock.
As regards construction, the use of very advanced machineries allows an excellent resin blending and catalyzation at constant temperature. Through a constant calculation logic, it’s possible to obtain some uniform surfaces in every part of the hull. Hull and deck are put together and welded with resin through layering for the entire boat perimeter in order to create a unique body.
