Riviera 4600 Sport Yacht, the Australian pride for luxury boats

All the Australian pride was felt in the presentation of the Riviera 4600 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition, the brand-new Riviera yacht world premiered a few days ago at the Gold Coast dealer’s premises in the Runaway Bay Marina in Queensland. The renowned Australian superyacht builder has just completed the construction of a new luxury and innovation example, developing a boat with an exceptional style and huge interior volumes, without neglecting the performance.

Presentation of the Riviera 4600 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition

The Riviera 4600 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition stands out for its fine fabrics, walnut polished wood furnishings, stylish lounges and ultra-soft carpeting for bare feet in the cabin. The stunning hard top with two electric sunroofs and the black finishes give the yacht an elegant and aggressive look at the same time.

As far as space is concerned, the Riviera 4600 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition offers three comfortable and very bright cabins thanks to the huge windows and portholes, which can be opened if necessary to improve internal ventilation, a generous platform with the additional option of slides for diving and a large storage room with electric door under the cockpit to place water sports equipment such as kayaks and SUPs up to 2.7 metres long. The size of the engine room is also very generous and easily accessible thanks to access from the cockpit with a stainless steel ladder.

In addition to the stylish driving console, there is also a luxurious wrap-around lounge with an icebox, small storage space and folding wooden table. On the starboard side there is a barbecue, a refrigerator with drawers and a sink with a mixer for hot and cold water. Lastly, in the bow guests can relax and sunbathe on huge, comfortable sunbeds with adjustable headrests. Very strategically placed is the U-shaped galley, which is connected to both the interior and exterior saloon and is equipped with a cooker, microwave oven, grill, sink, 150L fridge, 50L freezer, liquor cabinet and generous worktop. All the interiors are of course air-conditioned.

As in all motor yachts in this class, comfort is not only for the guests but also for the helmsman in the Riviera 4600 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition. The helm station boasts two leather and alcantara sports seats in front of a dashboard with a tilt-adjustable sports steering wheel and practical controls including a joystick, two Garmin displays and a control panel.

In conclusion, it is worth mentioning the exceptional performance promised by the Riviera 4600 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition, powered by two Volvo Penta D6-IPS650 engines of 480 HP each (optionally also available in a 600 HP version), an 11 kW Kohler generator and a 2,100-litre fuel tank. Thanks to the fibreglass hull built with independent, foam-filled compartments, vibrations and noise are very limited.

Riviera 4600 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition is a motor yacht able to accommodate up to 6 people, who can afford not to renounce to any comfort also thanks to the 620 litres water tank that guarantees an adequate autonomy for long excursions. The yacht will be exhibited at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, scheduled from May 19-22, at Riviera’s booth together with eleven other models.
