Italian yachting continues with its energetic activity and Sanlorenzo Yachts celebrates its 30th launch of 2016 with yacht number 11 of SD112 model.
The launch ceremony was held at Sanlorenzo’s yards in Viareggio, at the presence of the Belgian owner arrived in Italy with his family and friends to celebrate this important event together with the whole yard.
The yacht is 7.66 m wide, with a maximum draught of 2 m, a total inner volume of 266 GT and provided with fiberglass hull and superstructure.
The boat can host up to 10 guests in four luxury cabins and a master suite. The crew is made up of 5 people.
Performances are entrusted to a couple of MTU M72 12V2000 1,224 HP engines, which promise a maximum speed of 15 knot and a cruising one of 11, with a range of 2,750 miles also thanks to its 25,000-litre fuel tank.
So, a good result for the yard of Ameglia (La Spezia) which, this year, has also enlarged its structure through the acquisition of the impressive production site of La Spezia, the seat of Sanlorenzo Superyacht, dedicated to the planning of metal boats ranging from 40 up to 80 m and which takes its place alongside the other sites of Ameglia and Viareggio.
Now, the range of models is divided into 4 different lines: SL, SD, SX (this will be launched at Cannes Yachting Festival 2017) and SY (Sanlorenzo Superyacht).
For 2016, the yard finally forecasts a general turnover of EUR 300 million, a very positive result if compared to the 220 million registered in 2015. Ebitda 2016 reaches EUR 24 million while the pre-tax profit is over 10 million.
