The golden September of Scanner Marine, introducing the new Envy 1500

Scanner Marine is gearing up for a September full of unmissable events. The Italian shipyard, which has been producing top-quality tenders, inflatables, and maxi RIBs since 1989, will be not only participating in the major international boat shows in Cannes and Genoa but will also be organizing its traditional “Scanner Days“. This event, held over an entire weekend, offers Scanner Marine customers the opportunity to carry out more detailed sea trials and finalize deals initiated at the boat shows. As per tradition, the event is scheduled for the last weekend of September, from Friday the 27th to Sunday the 29th at the Marina di Varazze.

Before that, as mentioned, Scanner Marine will be attending the Cannes Yachting Festival and the Genoa International Boat Show, scheduled from September 10th to 15th and September 19th to 24th, respectively. In France, visitors can find the Scanner Marine booth at Port Vieux, in location PAN 034, while in Liguria, the company will be exhibiting in the area dedicated to maxi RIBs.

The trio that Scanner Marine will showcase at both shows is truly something to dream about, starting with the Scanner Envy 1500, the new flagship of the shipyard, which will make its world debut in Cannes, followed by Genoa. Last February, we at YachtingNews exclusively published the first renderings of the Envy 1500.

The new Scanner Marine Envy 1500 features an additional one and a half meters in length and 60 centimeters in width compared to its predecessor, the Envy 1200. These increased dimensions have allowed Scanner to create more precious space and enhance onboard comfort. At the stern, there is a very useful enlarged platform for welcoming guests, followed by a sunbathing area. This area, integrated into the walk-around design, hosts the first of two large opposing sofas that define the central area of the new vessel. This is the most attractive convivial area of the Envy 1500, complemented by a second forward sofa housed within a cabinet. Along with the dining area positioned at the base of the Hard-Top, this setup offers ample storage space, as well as room for refrigerators and cooking plates.

The cockpit of the Scanner Envy 1500 is equipped with three forward-facing seats, with the helm station positioned to the right, while on the left, there is access to the below-deck sleeping area. As of now, Scanner Marine has not revealed any details or images of this area, leaving us eager to explore the vessel further. Both in Cannes and Genoa, the Scanner Envy 1500 will be presented with two 600-horsepower Mercury Verado V12 outboards, promising highly impressive performance.

In addition to the Envy 1500, Scanner Marine will be presenting the Scanner Envy 1200 and Scanner Envy 1100 TT at the September boat shows. More specifically, at Cannes, the Envy 1200 will be displayed in its inboard/outboard version, while in Genoa, it will be showcased as an outboard model, powered by two 400-horsepower Mercury engines. The Scanner Envy 1100 TT will be shown in both venues with the outboard configuration, featuring a pair of 350-horsepower Mercury engines.

We at YachtingNews have often praised the qualities of the Scanner Envy 1200, including through several sea trials, both in its Hard-Top and T-Top versions. This 12-meter-long maxi-RIB, with its sporty yet elegant character, fits between the 1100 and 1400 models. It is a pure open RIB designed primarily as a day boat or superyacht tender but also suitable for short mini-cruises.

The third and final jewel that Scanner Marine will bring to the Cannes and Genoa boat shows is the Envy 1100. Despite its compact 11-meter length, this model gives the impression of much greater space. Fast and elegant, as we recently confirmed during our sea trial, the Scanner Envy 1100 showcases the refined and high-quality style typical of the shipyard. This design is the result of the superb craftsmanship of Montemitro Design, which has established Scanner Marine as a leading player in the world of RIBs.
