Small but innovative and greatly admired. Among the many news presented at Cannes Yachting Festival, Seatech 30′ (Ecoline Marine) was a real surprise. Despite its size (just 9 metres), this boat got the attention of many visitors. Designed to be used in Venice (hence the low beam, just 2.35 m), Seatech 30′ has an electric propulsion and she can be used for different purposes.

IMG_0158At the moment, Ecoline is building 10 samples in its yards in Sarnico. The designers are Fausto Colombi, founder of Cantieri di Sarnico with a long experience as Production Manager at Riva, Huracan (electric engines) and Archimede Energia (accumulators).

The 100%electric version exhibited in Cannes was provided with two electric Huracan 15 KW engines and a battery compartment under the floor divided into 4 different lines ( 2 for the engines, one for the bow thruster and another one for services). In collaboration with FTP, Transfluid and Archimede Energia, Ecoline has even designed a hybrid Limousine version.eesss

eeeWe particularly liked the high-quality construction and details, the console design and the easy-to-use equipment. If you prefer, you can even install a 5 Kw generator which works as a range-extender.

Seatech 30 sails at about 8/9 knots, with an autonomy of 4 hours. A full charging takes 1.5-3 hours (it depends on the range available on the quay, 16 or 32 A).

What about price? The electric version costs € 200,000, while the hybrid one costs € 230,000, always VAT excluded.
