SELVA 570. EXCELLENT AND CHEAP, EVEN WITHOUT LICENSE

In a few words, the most impressive thing in the new version of Selva D 570 is price, a little more than 20,000 Eros, engine and VAT included. This boat, with an already tested hull but with a new deck, is in fact proposed with a 40 HP engine, low consumption and the possibility to drive it even without license.

The small power is evident but the sporting mapping in Murena XSR, equipped with a Yamaha engine, helps to give a good acceleration During our sea trial, with three people on board, we reached a maximum speed of 28 knots, a cheap cruising speed of 22 knots and a fast speed of 24 knots.

You can install an engine up to 100 HP but you can have good performances even with the standard one. Once the glide reached  (about 7/8 knots) you sail well thanks to a good interaction between hull and tubes (which ensure an excellent static stability). Only with an exaggerated load, the 40 HP engine might suffer.

Something new has been added in the hull, such as more refined finishings and a new console. There is in fact an additional fore sofa, useful during navigation, which can be converted into a small sunbathing platform.

All in all, Selva 570 doesn’t astonish for innovation but it is extremely functional, with precise details and a traditional layout with symmetrical gangways and a central pilot house equipped with a large but not adjustable seat.

Decorations are simple and white and there is a lot of space to stowe, under the fore sunbathing platform and  the other seats.

Selva D 570 belongs to the Evolution range, one of the six ranges of the group, starting from the 2-metre tenders up to the flagship (9,6 metres).
