Selva Marine joined the last Genoa International Boat Show with a rush of new boats. In addition to three new outboards, indeed, the Italian company also introduced the restyled version of two RIBs and two new boats of the Karnic by Selva range.
Selva Marine chose the Genoa Boat Show to announce the arrival of the White Whale EFI, a 300HP outboard that promises to be the most powerful engine in the Italian company’s catalogue. In addition to the White Whale EFI, the Italian shipyard also unveiled two other engines: the Whale 200 EFI and the Amberjack 25 EFI.
The White Whale 300 EFIis the new top-of-the-line model of the Selva Marine range: a V6 60-degree engine with 24 DOHC valves and variable valve timing. With a displacement od 4,169 cc, the engine is made with a plasma melting process which allows to improve the overall weight and resistance of the engine. The weight of the basic version is 260 kg and the engine integrates the Drive by Wire electronic controls.
Sei Whale 200 EFI
The Sei Whale 200 EFI has a 4-cylinder 2,785 cc architecture. The distribution system is with 16 valves, equipped with double camshaft with variable valve timing, and single throttle body. In this case, too, the engine is equipped with an electronic Drive By Wire control system.
It’s the lightest engine of its category with the best weight/power ratio. The Amberjack 25 EFI is equipped with an electronic fuel injection (EFI) system. In the models with manual start, the engine runs with a starting condenser, so without the need to install a battery on board.
The engine integrates a 12V 16A alternator which, given its power, guarantees excellent charging even at low engine speeds. The Amberjack 25 EFI is also available in a version equipped with power trim/tilt system which facilitates trim management.
The main feature of this model is the large sun pad which allows you to relax immersed in a space that only few 6-meter boats can boast. The restyling offers the possibility to choose this model also fitted with black fabric tubulars. We tested her with a 40HP engine. Please stay tuned to read about our sea trial.
D.570 Special
The console of this boat has been renovated. Now, it integrates a forward seat while maintaining a functional multi-purpose central pilot seat. The D.570 Special is available in a version with black-coloured tubulars.
Karnic 800 SL by Selva
The Genoa Boat Show marked the Italian debut of the Karnic 800SL by Selva. We tested her and she really impressed us: despite a length of 9 meters, the Karnic 800SL by Selva can accommodate up to 4 passengers below deck thanks to the presence of two double beds positioned one in the bow and the other in the stern. The modular spaces on board and the high level of comfort make this boat a good option for those wishing to enjoy medium – or long-range cruises without sacrificing the comfort of a significantly bigger boat.
Karnic SL 652 by Selva
World debut for the Karnic SL 652 by Selva in Genoa. The boat has a length of less than 7 meters, a maximum beam of 2.45 meters and a weight of 1,120 kg. All these features make her a transportable boat.
The night area includes a double berth and the owner can even choose to install a marine toilet. The exteriors are characterized by a large forward sun pad and comfortable modular seats in the stern. The steering console is equipped with a two-seater pilot seat and a large dashboard. Power comes from a single outboard of up to 225HP. The Karnic SL 652 by Selva is a complete easy-to-handle boat suitable for short-range cruising or nautical camping.
