Among them, there’s the serpentine belt, used to transfer mechanical energy, make oil circulate and the alternator work.
If the belt gets broken, the engine won’t work. Moreover, since it’s impossible to charge batteries, the power necessary for the other equipment will exhaust in a very short time. Consequently, a good belt is as essential as being able to replace it.
