Alex Thomson has achieved a new endeavour, even more spectacular and more relating to sailing than the previous ones.
In Alvor (Portugal) Alex sails fast on his kitesurf and he reaches his Hugo Boss by seizing a halyard he immediately hooks on his harness.
At this point, the crew of the boat starts to recover the halyard and Alex literally flies on his kite; when he reaches the maximum height, he is freed and he starts to glide to the sea. After the contact, of course, he starts to surf again.
So that’s the question: “how many dinner suits will he have used before being successful in his attempt?”.
But, joking aside, Alex has been certainly become a symbol character of extreme sailing.
