Nautor Swan has just launched two new boats.
They are two giants of 30 metres called Shamanna and Highland Fling 15. So, three Swan 115 boats in less than one year.
They were launched in the Gulf of Bothia, on the Finnish coasts, but they will sail only in some months. They will be certainly at the Maxi Rolew Cup of Porto Cervo next September.
Shamanna is a Swanna 115 FD boat, that is a flush deck version, with a clean deck and a compact deckhouse which almost disappears in the deck, while Highland Fling 15 is a 115, race version.
Designed by German Frers, they have carbon hull, deck and rigging. The floating line is long and the generous beam includes a double rudder blade. In addition to a standard keel (4.70 m) it’s possible to have a hydraulic lifting keel; in this case, draught goes from 5.70 to 3.50 metres.
In addition to flush deck (FD) and race versions, there is also a semi raised saloon (S) version available. Layouts change according to versions and they have a large fore/astern shipowner’s zone and three guest cabins. The crew – up to 6 people – is in a separated zone.
At the moment, the shipbuilder is building a 115 race and a 95 S.
