Metstrade Amsterdam

Ubi Maior Italia at Mets 2024 with its line of mooring accessories

Ubi Maior Italia jons the new edition of Metstrade Amsterdam with its line of mooring accessories, designed to provide customers with the highest level of reliability and design for their boats. The Pontassieve-based company, specialized in the design and production of high-end deck equipment to exceptionally high-quality standards, is showcasing at the Europe’s largest B2B exhibition for the marine equipment industry, which opens today in the Dutch capital. On this occasion, Ubi Maior is presenting its new line of retractable mooring cleats, a range of innovative products characterized by refined design.

Cleats and fairleads

Ubi Maior Italia’s retractable cleats are available in both anodized aluminum for marine environments and stainless steel. This range of products is customizable with the boat’s logo and, for the stainless steel cleats, also with the final finish. Designed with a modern, innovative style featuring squared, minimalist lines, Ubi Maior cleats come in various sizes, ranging from 35 to 43 centimeters in length, with load capacities from 3,300 kg to 7,500 kg.

Cleats are key accessories for any type of boat, as they allow the vessel to stay securely moored. This is why choosing high-quality products like those designed by Ubi Maior Italia is essential to ensure maximum safety and peace of mind at the dock.

In addition to the cleats, fairleads are equally important, as they allow ropes or cables to pass through, ensuring they are properly secured to the exterior of the boat during mooring maneuvers. Ubi Maior Italia also designs and manufactures a line of fairleads for mooring lines, specifically intended to optimize the load distribution of the lines on the mooring cleats. Ubi Maior’s fairleads are available in both anodized aluminum for marine environments and stainless steel and will also be exhibited at Metstrade in Amsterdam.

Ubi Maior Italia at Mets

Ubi Maior Italia combines the latest production techniques with the tradition and experience of highly qualified professionals who have turned their passion for sailing into a lifelong career. Since its inception, the company’s goal has been to design and produce highly functional elements that ensure easy handling and optimal performance for any boat.

Ubi Maior is exhibiting at Metstrade 2024 in Amsterdam at booth 12.324. The exhibition will close on November 21.

Since its first edition in 1988, Metstrade has served as a true platform for innovation, market developments, and networking in the boating industry. Specifically, the Amsterdam exhibition targets three specialized sectors: superyachts, marinas and shipyards, and construction materials, with each sector having its own dedicated pavilion, offering a smaller, independent show within the larger context of the fair. Now in its 36th edition, Metstrade has become a key event in the industry, and Ubi Maior Italia certainly couldn’t miss it.
