At the Miami Boat Show, Xquisite Yachts has presented its new X5, a catamaran where everything is conceived to offer the best comfort to couples and families during their cruise. Built in South Africa, X5 offers a very rich standard equipment, especially as regards on board comfort details.
In order to make life on board as easy as possible, Xquisite Yachts offers standard power generator, air conditioned, desalination system, ice machine and dishwasher. There are many other standard equipments which will give great comfort to passengers: electric winch systems, tender crane, maneuver control in the pilot house, rainwater collector for more fresh water, large fore lockers for stowage, automatic window matting systems.
Interiors follow the traditional style of big catamarans: sliding transparent doors between the inner dinette and the external cockpit make spaces larger and more bright. The possible layouts are two: the first one is classic, with four cabins and four bathrooms, while the shipowner’s layout has three cabins, three bathrooms, a large suite, a separated shower, a wardrobe and a chill-out zone/desk. Decorations are clear and modern but you can choose dark wooden decorations if you prefer a more traditional design.
The shipbuilder offers a “Sail away” package, with all standard supplies at 1,200,000 dollars (about 1,060,000 Euros), for both 3 or 4 cabins. With a surcharge of 25,000 dollars (about 22,000 Euros) you can buy comfort package optionals: leather interiors, barbecue, larger table, additional seats and so on. There is also the possibility to choose other optionals: electronics (AIS, repeaters ad plotter at 8,400 dollars), amusement ( two 32” televisions, home theater system, speakers and submarine led lights at 35,000 dollars), communication ( SSB radio, pactor and wi-fi antenna installed on the mast at 15,000 dollars), diving package ( compressor and diving tank at 16,000 dollars), electric, hydraulic, sailing upgrade and many other solutions.
After the Miami Boat Show, X5 will reach Europe for the Multihull Boat of April in Le Grande Motte, France.
